Build Consulting (“We” or “Build”) has created this privacy policy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to your privacy.

Build values and respects an individual’s right to keep certain information private. At the same time, Build needs to collect and use certain information to enable Build to effectively deliver products and services and further its mission. In order to accomplish both of these goals, we have provided this detailed Privacy Policy so that you may understand how various types of information may be used.

This Privacy Policy discloses our information gathering, use, and dissemination practices for this Web site (the “Web site”). Collection of Information

Build may collect 3 kinds of information:

  1. Personal Information;
  2. Aggregate Information;
  3. Research Information.

When using the Web site, in order to utilize some of the services, to register with Build, or to correspond with Build, you may be asked to provide, or you may choose to upload, certain personally identifiable information about yourself or another person.

Personal Information: Personal Information can include your name, email address, physical address, telephone number, employer name, and your job title at that employer.

Aggregate Information: In addition, we may also collect non-personally identifiable information, such as IP host address, pages viewed, browser type, and other data, and may aggregate any Personal Information collected. Aggregate information will not include any information which identifies any individual.

Research Information: From time to time Build may solicit, or users may choose to submit to Build on an unsolicited basis, research information, survey responses, and project RFPs (“Research Information”).

Use of Information

Personal Information: We may use Personal Information to contact you about programs, services, announcements, or promotional efforts in connection, or affiliated, with Build. We will not sell or rent your Personal Information, or share it with any third party unaffiliated with Build. However, we may share Personal Information with affiliates and other third parties with whom Build is collaborating on a particular project, such as organizations engaged in similar services as Build or partners that we believe help further our mission.

Aggregate Information: We may use Aggregate Information to improve and enhance your experience on the Web site and for our research activities. For example, we may share Aggregate Information with unaffiliated third parties, such as business partners, in an aggregate, anonymous form, which means that the shared information will not contain nor be linked to any Personal Information. Aggregate Information may also be provided to third parties for research, development, or other purposes. By submitting Personal Information to Build, you expressly consent to the unlimited right of Build to aggregate such information with other similar information and use it in any manner which does not SPECIFICALLY identify any individual.

Research Information: Research Information submitted to Build pursuant to a particular program will be subject to the terms and conditions of that research program. Build makes no guarantees or representations with respect to how unsolicited Research Information sent to Build may be handled.

Opt-In and Opt-Out Process: If at any time in the future we plan to use any Personal Information in a way that differs from this policy, we will post such changes here and provide you the opportunity to “opt-out” of such differing uses. Your continued use of our Web site following the posting of any changes to this policy means you accept such changes.

Children: Build does not knowingly allow anyone under the age of 13 to participate in any services offered on our Web site which requires the submission of Personal Information. If we learn that a user is under 13 and has submitted such information to us, we will delete that information as promptly as possible.

Security: The security of your Personal Information is very important to us. We attempt to provide for the secure transmission of your information from your computer to our servers by utilizing encryption software. However, due to the inherent open nature of the Internet, we cannot guarantee that communications between you and Build, and Build and you, will be free from unauthorized access by third parties such as hackers and your use of the Web site demonstrates your assumption of this risk. Only those employees who need access to your information in order to perform their duties are allowed access to your Personal Information.
